At RUCID we believe that skills development is a primary means of enabling young people to make a smooth transition to work. Our approach integrates young women and men in the labour market through relevant and quality skills training and career guidance as well as incorporating entrepreneurship with training and effective skills forecasting. We attach importance to business-related skills such as production of cosmetics, catering, soap-making, business management, enterprise selection, art and craft and design.

What you need inorder to Graduate
In order to graduate with a Diploma or Certificate, students must attend our exchange program at Kenya Institute of Organic Farming (KIOF). RUCID Organic Agricultural Training College also welcomes over 20 international exchange students each year through its exchange program with KIOF. The exchange program is an integral part of RUCID’s college programs and contributes to the vibrant community and improved learning experience of programs at the college and at the partner institute KIOF.
Incoming exchange students from Kenya are directly enrolled in courses in which RUCID has better teaching and learning experience. KIOF exists solely for the benefit of the public at large by promoting rural development and education in organic agriculture and related marketing services.
